We had a great trip to see the Easter Bunny today. Lindy Jack absolutely loved him! He posed for the pictures with no problems and then when I picked him up to say goodbye to the Bunny, he turned towards Mr. Bunny and reached back for him. I asked the Easter Bunny if I could put him back in his lap and when I did so Lindy Jack turned to him and gave him a huge hug around the neck. It was sooooo sweet!!
We will be having a GIRL!!! She is Due August 17th. Her name is Lila Hazel Smith, named after my grandmothers Lila Elizabeth Loggins and Hazel Montgomery Wells.
We had such a great time at the zoo. I think Lindy Jack was looking at these goats and thinking.. gosh my dog is bigger than you guys:)Mama and Daddy Jeff taking a little break. Family Picture My friend Kali and her son Paul met us there. Lindy Jack loved the train. He was swaying back and forth trying to get it to go faster I guess. On our way out the gate he fell out. Sound asleep.
I have been meaning to do this post for a while. Our cats loved all the new comfy places to sit that came along with Lindy Jack. Who could blame them. Look how peaceful and comfortable they look:
Sunday in the Bumbo: Ficher in the playpen: Sunday in the bouncy seat: Sunday in the car seat: Sunday in the stroller: Sunday in the nursery: Both kitties in the bottom of the bassinet:
We are making progress.. slowly but surely. The heating, air and plumbing are being done now. After that we can really start getting the inside together.
Before: Some of the paint is done. There is still more that has to be touched up and the porch is not complete.
In progress: It is hard to see in this picture but the stone on the porch is beautiful!!!! I love it. The grout was being put down in this picture.. not completed, but you get the idea.
Let me say that again! I can't believe he almost a YEAR OLD! Let me update you on what Lindy Jack is doing these days:
crawling (well not the traditional crawl.. we call it an army crawl.. or belly crawl)

when we say "Praise Jesus" Lindy Jack raises his hand to the sky
playing his toy drum
saying da da, kai(our great dane), ig ack (Big Jack), ook (book), and he says something when the cats pass by but can't really figure out how to write it here.
