House Update

We are making progress.. slowly but surely. The heating, air and plumbing are being done now. After that we can really start getting the inside together.

Some of the paint is done. There is still more that has to be touched up and the porch is not complete.

It is hard to see in this picture but the stone on the porch is beautiful!!!! I love it.
The grout was being put down in this picture.. not completed, but you get the idea.

Can't believe he will be a year old in 2 months!!!!!

Let me say that again! I can't believe he almost a YEAR OLD! Let me update you on what Lindy Jack is doing these days:

• crawling (well not the traditional crawl.. we call it an army crawl.. or belly crawl)
• cutting teeth.. we have two bottom teeth and I think we may be cutting top teeth now
• clapping
• when we say "Praise Jesus" Lindy Jack raises his hand to the sky
• playing his toy drum
• saying da da, kai(our great dane), ig ack (Big Jack), ook (book), and he says something when the cats pass by but can't really figure out how to write it here.
• usually wakes up once a night to be rocked
• will only cuddle with us when it is bed time
• is eating 2nd foods and trying 3rds but can't stand any food chunks
• is learning how to use a sippy cup

Here Comes Santa Clause

Lindy Jack did so good on his first encounter with Santa. He wasn't afraid, he just kept looking up and him and checking him out. Santa whispered to me that next year might not be so easy. I guess he knows from experience.

House Update

The house is coming along. It looks like maybe we will be in by early spring. There are still a lot of decisions to be made before then. The back of the house. These are the windows to one of the upstairs bedrooms.

The windows are all in.

This is the side porch. The house had a big porch on the front, but Jeffrey had the great idea of wrapping to porch around the side of the house to.
